Thank you for shopping at Flowers by Leaf, an online platform operated by LJM Armadale Pty Ltd ("us" or "we"). Before placing an order for products on our website, please read and understand the following refund policy. By accessing and using the Flowers by Leaf website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

1. General

Flowers by Leaf is an online shopping website where you can browse, select, and order floral products advertised on the site. Your use of the site and placing an order is subject to these terms and conditions.

As we are dealing with an organic product, on rare occasions this product may not meet expectations. Products sold on this website are a perishable, natural item and flowers life span is dependent on species, resulting in some flower varieties living longer than others. Flowers are a product of nature; availability is dependent on season and markets. As a result, not all goods produced are as pictured on the Flowers by Leaf websit. By accepting these terms and conditions you are acknowledging there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods.

You can generally expect your flowers to last for 7 days, provided they are cared for correctly.

5 main steps will help your flowers to last as long as possible:

  1. Stems should be cut on an angle (in or under running water if possible) as soon as you receive the flowers
  2. Ensure the vase that is used is clean and filled with fresh water
  3. Always keep an eye on the water levels and change the water completely every two days
  4. Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight
  5. Keep the flowers away from drafts and air-conditioning

If you feel the flowers have not lasted for at least five days, let us know within this time by contacting us at 03 96475094 or florist@theleafstore.com.au during business hours. Once we are confident that they have been cared for as recommended, we will happily replace the flowers. Please note that we may firstly request a photo of the flowers and can only replace them if we are able to pick up the old flowers at the same time as we deliver the replacements. We are always available on 03 96475094, to answer any of your concerns or questions regarding the care of your flowers.

 

2. Order Placement

You may order products by selecting and submitting your order through the Flowers by Leaf website. Each order placed for products through the site is an offer by you to purchase the specified product at the indicated price.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason, such as unavailability of the product or errors in pricing or product description. If we reject an order, we will notify you at the time of order placement or within a reasonable time thereafter.


3. Delivery of Products

We will deliver the products to the specified delivery address. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accurate and accessible. If you request delivery inside a premise or building, you assume responsibility for any loss or damage beyond the front door.

You must be present to accept the delivery of your first order and provide photographic identification upon our request.

If there is no one available to receive the order or you fail to be present during the specified delivery time, we will not deliver the products and may charge a fee of up to $25, along with the charges for any perishable products in the order. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you to reschedule the delivery, but an additional delivery fee may apply.


4. Cancellation of an Order

We may cancel an order at any time without liability if the requested products are unavailable, there are pricing or product description errors, or the order is placed in breach of these terms and conditions.

If we cancel an order due to unavailability or pricing/product description errors, we will provide reasonable notice and refund the full payment amount, including any delivery fees and charges, to your original payment method.

You may cancel an order through the Flowers by Leaf website up to 30 minutes before the specified delivery or collection window closes, with no fees or charges. In other circumstances, you can cancel an accepted order by contacting our Customer Service. Depending on the timing of the cancellation, fees may apply.

If you cancel an order for which we have already processed payment, we will refund the full payment amount, including any delivery fees and charges, to your original payment method.


5. Refunds and Returns

If you wish to return a product that was provided to you, please contact our Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving the product to discuss the issue. We will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund, replacement, or store credit.

Refunds for returned products will be issued within 3-5 business days to your original payment method. Please note that we may deduct any applicable delivery fees or charges from the refund amount.

Re-delivery fee

If a delivery has been attempted unsuccessfully and requires a second or subsequent delivery to be made (e.g. You have provided us with an incorrect address or no one is home during your selected delivery time and there is no safe place to leave the order) a redelivery fee will apply relevant to the delivery area. You will be contacted before the arrangement is redelivered and given the option to pick the arrangement up from our store in Armadale. If Flowers by Leaf is in any way responsible for the redelivery, this redelivery fee will not apply.
